How do I Order?
We have made the ordering process as straight forward as possible. Simply browse our shop, choose you favourite sweets and add them to your basket. Once you are satisfied with your choice click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for some details to complete your order. Once the order is completed and paid for, you will receive a confirmation via email.
We accept Credit/Debit Card transactions, which are handled by our secure card processing facility with WorldPay, one of the leading companies in this field.
WorldPay recognise that security is one of the major concerns for the shopper during an online transaction. So we use state of the art security tools and techniques to ensure that you are protected against online fraud. How long do orders take?
An average delivery time is 3-4 working days from the date of placing the order providing the goods are in stock. In exceptional circumstances delivery may take longer. In this event we will notify you via email. We reserve the right to replace items with a similar substitute of an equal or similar value in the unusual circumstance that we are unable to obtain an item. We always strive to complete your order as you wish, but if you don't like the substitute, you can of course return it to us.
We endeavour to dispatch your order as quickly as possible however, we do not send out packages on Saturdays or Sundays.
We do not accept responsibility for delays caused by a third party.
Please Note
All deliveries by Initial City Link will require a signature to ensure your order is delivered safely. You have the opportunity at the checkout to give special shipping instructions i.e. if you are unlikely to be available to receive your package and you would like it left with a neighbour please state this here. A signature will still be required.
If on the other hand you would like the package to be left, for example on your doorstep, in your porch or some other similar safe place please type this onto your special shipping instructions at the checkout. As no signature will be taken, neither The Sweet Corner nor Initial City Link will be held responsible for your package after it has been delivered.
Customs clearance
Please note that customers outside the United Kingdom may have to pay local import duties. For further information, please contact your local customs office.
Returns Policy
We expect that you will be delighted with your sweets. If there is a problem with the quality of your product please return them within 7 working days to the address at the foot of this page. Please enclose your contact details, details of the problem and any material associated with the product.
Please note: We do all we can to ensure that we send out goods that are top quality and that they are in perfect condition. We cannot accept responsibility for goods that are damaged by climatic conditions once dispatched or that are damaged during transit.
Nut Allergies
As a result of the manufacturing process, of which we are not responsible, we are regrettably unable to provide a 100% guarantee that our sweets will not contain traces of nuts. We will endeavour to provide full details of ingredients of individual sweets as/when this is possible.
